Greens Bag - Certified Organic Cotton

Ah the joy of greens - those amazingly refreshing foods! This handy drawstring bag is superb for carrying greens like kale, lettuce, etc. home from shopping and can be used for storing garden greens in the fridge to keep them fresh and crisp. It is made of 100% certified organic unbleached cotton and printed with environmentally-friendly, water-based pigments. This cotton has not been treated with any chemicals whatsoever. Either place washed greens in the bag or rinse the bag in water and wring it out well then place lettuce inside. The moisture will keep the greens lasting longer than if left alone in the fridge. Be sure the bag is only moist and not wet to avoid mold development. 

Pro tip: Lettuce looking a little wilted? Cut off a small sliver off the bottom of your lettuce head and place in shallow water for a few hours and watch it perk back up!.
