The utensils are made from bamboo and are lightweight, but strong and long-lasting. They are also heat and stain resistant, and won't impart or absorb flavors. Extra protection is ensured through hand finishing with a top grade natural, food-safe wood oil. 

The carrying case is made from recycled PET plastic - the type of plastic used for most single-use, disposable plastic water bottles. The process gives old plastic a new life and an eco-friendly purpose.
